Nikhil Patel, MD

Nikhil Patel, MD, is a dual board-certified physician in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and interventional pain management at Anchor Spine & Joint, located in Tampa, Riverview, Odessa, Pinellas Park, and Lutz, Florida. 

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Ross University, followed by an internship in internal medicine and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin. To further his expertise, he completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at the National Pain Institute.

With advanced training and years of clinical experience, Dr. Patel specializes in diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic pain. He provides comprehensive care for patients suffering from sports injuries, auto accident injuries, spine disorders, and other pain-related conditions. His approach combines cutting-edge techniques—such as radiofrequency ablation, epidural injections, and X-ray-guided procedures—with customized treatment plans that may also include physical therapy and rehabilitation.
