Dr. Nikhil Patel earned his Medical Doctorate at Ross University. He completed his internship in internal medicine and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Patel holds a fellowship in interventional pain management at the National Pain Institute, and he is dual board-certified in physical medicine, rehabilitation and pain management.
Dr. Patel uses the latest, cutting-edge techniques to treat acute and chronic pain that stems from both sports-related injuries, as well as auto accidents. He creates dynamic, multidisciplinary treatment plans, that may include injections, physical therapy and interventional pain management to help his patients. Technology, like radiofrequency ablation, epidural procedures and X-ray-guided injections, allow Dr. Patel to maximize the amount of medication introduced to target areas to alleviate pain.
